My love of gardening with flowers, herbs, and produce on our 3+ acre land led me to study seriously and enthusiastically The Way of Life Herbalism Course taught by Susanna Reppert-Brill of The Rosemary House in Mechanicsburg, PA. Susanna herself is a 6th generation herbalist. Her 10-month class uses the curriculum of Rosemary Gladstar. Hence, I am certified by both learned women.
While growing my knowledge of the herbal materia medica (plant properties), I discovered with each season, the veritable garden of Eden literally available for foraging in my own back yard!
Just as with other trainings, being certified is only the beginning of a journey of exploration applying science, art, and intuition. With each tincture, glycerite, infusion, salve, crème, balm, oxymel and tea, my life and that of my clients has been herbally enhanced, supported by Nature’s wisdom and abundance.
In addition to generally appreciated products, l have also, on occasion, crafted custom blends specific to a client’s reported needs.
